Beyond our international technical and financial cooperation activities, which are the main focus of COFAD, we also undertake studies for private clients. In March 2023 we started a feasibility study to define the potential of three aquafarms in the Kouilou region.

Different sites were investigated, and recommendations were given on which system and species could be feasible. The feasibility study covered all technical and financial aspects required that would enable the client to make effective decisions and start a viable and sustainable aquaculture project. Feasibility studies are key to the success of aquaculture projects in Africa and beyond. An experienced team of six experts took care of these three studies.  Read more
