Republic of the Congo - Support to aquaculture development in Kouilou Region

During its third mission to the Republic of the Congo last February,  the COFAD team completed the feasibility study on aquaculture assistance for the Kouilou region. The French NGO IECD mandated COFAD in July 2022 to conduct a sector assessment and to design a long-term project to support the aquaculture value chains sector in the Congo (Pointe Noire surroundings). The COFAD team proposed a technical assistance project for the aquaculture sector for a period of 3 years starting in April 2023. Learn more about the project
